Coordinating Activities for Ebon Root

Ebon Root is happy to support and sponsor Activity Coordinators for any games running at the store. A few things to keep in mind:

1. Calendar: The official schedule of events for Ebon Root is the Community Calendar. If you want to run an officially sanctioned game, you must put your game into the calendar! If you do not, your space may be given to other events! The calendar is the only place to schedule events at Ebon Root.

2. Promotion: Ebon Root provides the Community Calendar to help you promote your game (which will send emails!), and we tell other customers about the game. Ultimately you are responsible to try to bring players into the event. If you believe you can bring players to start an event, splendid! However, if you expect them to just appear out of the woodwork without any legwork, you might find an empty game...

3. Rewards: Events which are officially sanctioned by the Store (typically those which also have vendor sanctioning), and which bring in an acceptable player base qualify the Coordinator for Reward Points. Make sure to ask the Salesperson about your Reward Points!

4. Credo: Everybody is here to have fun. Remember to remind players about the Ebon Root Player Credo. If you notice somebody in the game who is becoming a problem, it is your responsibility to contain the situation. Sometimes it is as simple as asking them to take a break and calm down. If the player is not able to be calmed down, you can ask the Sales Person for assistance.
